The Chudleys Gundog Championship reaches its most anticipated Grand Final at this September’s Midland Game Fair and with only a few more weeks to go, the Championship is now all to play for.

With only the Saturday of the Midland Game Fair left to earn your spot within the favoured gundog competition, now is the time for budding handlers to get those dates penned in and get some top-level gundog training in. This September, handlers and their talented companions will be battling it out in the most competitive of scurries and Working Tests to see if they have what it takes to reach the most coveted Grand Final.

As ever, this year’s Scurries consist of the Pick ‘n’ Mix, Duck Distraction, Short Fence, Long Retrieve, Up ‘n’ Over and the Novice Retrieve. The Working Test will also challenge the gundogs working ability by re-enacting artificially simulated shooting day conditions.

Qualifiers from all five Countryman Fairs events will go head to head with other finalists at the Midland Game Fair’s Grand Final, with the titleholder awarded £2,000 cash, an engraved trophy and rosette. Have you got what it takes?
