There’s just a few days to go until the Midland Game Fair arrives at the grounds of Weston Park, and this weekend’s showcase is one not to be missed!

Bringing a fantastic line-up of sporting pursuits and country inspired living to the stunning grounds of Weston Park in Shropshire, the vast parkland offers the perfect place to host a countryside event of this magnitude. Not only will be visitors be surrounded by some of Britain’s most beautiful countryside, 2018 promises plenty of exciting new features and lots to get involved in at this last event of the season.

For 2018, visitors to the event can enjoy a jam-packed Realtree Main Arena line up, including jousting favourites, The Knights of Middle England, falconry experts with Ye Olde Redtail Falconry, as well as musical interludes by the Coventry Corps of Drums, a traditional Hound Parade as well as an insightful demonstration from Brin Brinded.

Away from the Main Arena, visitors can enjoy the ever-popular Folk Roots Festival across three different stages, the all new Festival of Shooting with Airgun Expo and Gamekeeper’s Row, the Prince Albert Angling Fishing Village, a Working Dog Village, Falconry Village, as well as a Fieldsports Arena, Food Festival and Beer in the Park, where visitors can take a well earned break! There’s a Survival Camp and not to mention a whole host of family inspired entertainment. From Ferret displays, practical horsemanship to inflatables, there is also a huge array of have-a-go fun, musical entertainment and demonstrations in every rural craft for every age and interest.

As Britain’s largest fieldsports-themed outdoor event, the 2018 annual Midland Game Fair boasts a comprehensive itinerary for the whole family as well as more than 700 trade stands selling the latest in countryside goodies and outdoor wear and accessories. With Grand Finals also being hosted in the Chudleys Gundog Championship and BASC Clay Shooting events, as well as the BFTA European Field Target Championship for this year, spectators and visitors can expect a nail-biting close to what has been a superb season of sporting activity.
