Fun for all the family at the Midland Game Fair

The last event of the season and our biggest one to date, The Midland Game Fair returns this September, and this year’s line up makes the perfect day out for the whole family!

With lots of acts, demonstrations and country inspired activities in store, as well as a variety of acts inside the Realtree Main Arena, families will be spoilt for choice. On the line up this year, visitors can enjoy performances by The Knights of Middle England, Ye Olde Redtail Falconry, as well as musical interludes by the Coventry Corps of Drums, a traditional Hound Parade as well as an insightful demonstration from Brin Brinded.

In fact at the Midland Game Fair there’s a whole host of sporting finals and activities to try your hand at. For musical entertainment, there’s the ever-popular Folk Roots Festival set across three different stages. Or for the more traditional past times and pursuits, there’s the Prince Albert Angling Fishing Village, a Working Dog Village, Falconry Village, Food Festival and Beer in the Park, where visitors can take a well earned break!

This year, enthusiasts can enjoy a whole Festival of Shooting. If you would like to get involved in shooting, or need advice on shooting related matters, then the Festival of Shooting is the place for you. Airgun Expo, Gamekeepers Row and Gunmakers Row combine to provide a comprehensive showcase of shooting sports, and welcome the country’s leading shooting related organisations too.

If have a go fun is more your thing, why not try the Survival Camp with ex-SAS Soldier Bob Podesta. Other fun things to try include the Airsoft Ranges, Falconry Classrooms, Ferret Racing, Gold Panning and a Pet Dog Show, not forgetting the inflatables, there’s also lots of musical entertainment and demonstrations in every rural craft for every age and interest to get inspired by.

As Britain’s largest fieldsports-themed outdoor event, the 2018 annual Midland Game Fair boasts a comprehensive itinerary for the whole family as well as more than 700 trade stands selling the latest in countryside goodies and outdoor wear and accessories. With Grand Finals also being hosted in the Chudleys Gundog Championship and BASC Clay Shooting events, as well as the BFTA European Field Target Championship for this year, spectators and visitors can expect a nail-biting close to what has been a superb season of sporting activity.
