The Midland Game Fair welcomed more than 86,000 visitors during the two-day show, which was held last month at Weston Park in Shropshire.
As Britain’s largest fieldsports-themed outdoor event, the 33rd annual Midland Game Fair boasted a comprehensive itinerary for the whole family as well as more than 700 exhibition stands. Plus the nail-biting grand finals of the Chudleys Gundog Championship and Countryman Fairs’ Clay Shooting Festival were held in front of heaving audiences.
Organised by award-winning event organiser Countryman Fairs, the Midland Game Fair is the largest of its seven regional shows and the last in its calendar. CEO Ian Harford said he was delighted with how well the show went: “The Midland Game Fair is the UK’s number one outdoor event for showcasing grassroots fieldsports. It is a firm diary date for everyone in the countryside. No other event caters for so many different types of fieldsports or hosts so many grand finals. This year’s glorious weather ensured a carnival feel and meant everyone had a memorable weekend.”
Next year, the Midland Game Fair will be held on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September 2017.
